Monsty The Orange

Monsty is a creature from the mind of my partner. Monsty is a fun loving, very excitable and friendly little monster.

Don't be scared, or you will hurt Monsty's feelings.

I had originally painted Monsty taking up the whole canvas in black (you can make out a faint silhouette) but characters in my paintings never seem to work unless given context. So Monsty shrinks, a comfy flower springs up and the background emerges as some hills; what a surprise!

The painting is 12 x 20 inches and done using oil paints.
