Colours, Abstractions and Mountains

A newly completed work. I started this a few days ago, just wanting to start something new and throw some paint around. To me it is a mountain scene, but really it is an abstracted concept of a mountain scene.

When Easter Island Comes Alive

Here is an image I finished last night. I started looking at the Easter Island heads and I was inspired to paint. What if they are magical? What if they are waiting for something, and in a constant hibernation until then? Would they be good or evil? Hard to say, but I like the heads, and they have now worked themselves into my work.
